Jim Ignatius
Jim serves as the County Commissioner from District #3, the Woodland Park area. He is a retired firefighter/paramedic from the Chicago area. He and his wife Dawn of twenty-five years and their three children moved to Teller County in the spring of 1995.
Since moving to Teller County Jim has been very active in the local business community and has owned several businesses in Woodland Park.

Jim has also been active as a volunteer in numerous local planning advisory committees, Public Health Advisory Committees, water boards, and homeowners associations.
In commenting on his appointment to the Teller County Board of County Commissioners Jim stated, The County Commissioners are the policy makers of county government. I believe governments objectives should be achieved with the fewest amount of regulations as possible, while insuring the health, safety and welfare of all the citizens of Teller County. I look forward to the challenge.
