EMERGENCY INFORMATION (Posted September 9, 2010) - The Teller County Sheriff’s Office has issued a countywide burn permit restriction for no open burning until 6:00 PM tomorrow evening. The USFS has issued a RED FLAG Warning for today through tomorrow at 6:00 PM. The National Weather Service 0600 forecast indicated that NEAR-CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE PROBABLE TODAY for our Fire Zone.
Hwy 24 and State Hwy 67 Bridge Replacement Work Begins mid-September In mid-September, the Colo. Dept. of Transportation (CDOT) will begin a bridge replacement project to replace 3 structurally deficiant bridges. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of December 2010.
