Food Service Protection Program

We provide inspections and education to retail food establishments in Teller County that serve food to the public, including:
    • Restaurants
    • Grocery stores
    • Convenience stores
    • School kitchens
    • Mobile units (including Hot Dog Stands)

Services we provide:
    • Issue retail food establishment licenses in compliance with state law.
    • Conduct plan reviews for new and remodeled food establishments to reduce risk of food borne illness.
    • Provide food safety classes for food service workers
